Pune Municipal Corporation's Pune 360 – Integrated Digital Governance Ecosystem received the Silver Award at the National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG) 2026, presented by the Government of India.
The award recognizes PMC's innovative, citizen-centric digital governance model that integrates the official website, PMC Care mobile application, WhatsApp chatbot, AI-powered services, grievance management, and digital public service delivery into a unified platform, setting a benchmark for urban digital governance.

PMC Secures 2nd Rank in Maharashtra under the 150-Day E-Governance Improvement Program
Under the 150-Day E-Governance Improvement Program launched by the Government of Maharashtra, Pune Municipal Corporation secured 2nd Rank among all Municipal Corporations in the State for excellence in digital governance and administrative reforms.
The recognition reflects PMC's successful implementation of citizen-centric digital initiatives, including its integrated digital ecosystem comprising the official website, PMC Care mobile application, WhatsApp chatbot services, AI-enabled governance, GIS-based systems, and other technology-driven public services.

IEEE International Smart Cities Award - Emerging Economy - Legacy Cities
The Pune Municipal Corporation’s innovative 'PMC Care' project has won the first prize in the ‘Emerging Economy - Legacy Cities category at the IEEE International Smart Cities Award. The award, conferred by the IEEE Smart Cities Technical Community, was presented at the IEEE International Smart Cities Conference held in Pattaya, Thailand, from October 29 to November 1, 2024.
PMC Care is a citizen engagement platform designed to boost public participation in municipal activities and to streamline access to services through a mobile app and portal. The platform provides essential services and updates, including grievance redressal, online payment of municipal taxes like property tax, and notifications on water shutdowns. It also keeps citizens informed of various city-centric updates and services the civic body offers. The platform has already been widely adopted, with lakhs of Pune citizens actively using the service, gaining international recognition for its impactful role in enhancing citizen engagement.

In 2025 Pune Municipal Corporation received first rank in Maharashtra with a total score of 8.22 out of 10. In past years PMC has improved its performance. In year 2023 it was ranked 5th in Maharashtra, in 2024 4th and now in 2025, it is ranked 1st.
