<h3>Important Instructions Regarding Permissions for Campaign Meetings During the Model Code of Conduct</h3>
<ul>
<li>During the Model Code of Conduct period of the Pune Municipal Corporation General Elections 2025-26, permission has been approved for candidates/political parties to organise Chowk Sabha (public square meetings) and Corner Meetings.</li>
<li>Campaign meetings will be permitted at roads, amenity spaces, open grounds, playgrounds, and primary/secondary school grounds under the possession of Pune Municipal Corporation, at approved rates.</li>
<li>As per existing policies and terms, political parties will not be allowed to conduct political meetings and related programs in municipal gardens.</li>
<li>Also, putting up political flags, banners, posters, etc., in gardens is not permitted as per information issued by the Garden Department.</li>
<li>Candidates/political parties must submit applications for Chowk Sabha / Corner Meeting / Campaign Meeting to the One-Window Scheme Desk at the respective Ward Office.</li>
<li>After payment of daily rent charges, deposit charges, cleaning fees, etc., as per the list of available locations received from various PMC departments and the Police Special Branch, further action will be taken regarding permission according to prescribed terms and conditions.</li>

<h3>Terms and Conditions for Campaign Meetings</h3>
<ul>
<li>If a meeting is conducted on a road, chowk, or open space without prior permission, a penalty equal to one and a half times the license fee will be recovered from the concerned organizers.</li>
<li>If the penalty is not paid within the notified time, the matter will be reported in writing to the respective Returning Officer for further recovery action.<br> <a href="https://www.pmc.gov.in/b/election-ro-aro"> (Click here for Returning Officer Information)</a></li>
<li>For the above meetings, it is mandatory to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Competent Officer of the Traffic Police Department and Local Police Department.</li>
<li>If required, a stage/pandal of size 10' x 10' may be erected without digging any holes on the road/footpath.</li>
<li>If any holes are found dug on the road/footpath for stage/pandal installation, a penalty of ₹2000/- per hole will be recovered as per the existing Pandal Policy.</li>
<li>All conditions issued from time to time by the Election Commission regarding permissions and Model Code of Conduct will remain applicable.</li>
<li>If multiple applications are received for campaign meetings at the same location, on the same day and at the same time, the decision taken by the Returning Officer will be final and binding on all concerned.</li>
</ul>
