Chatrapati Sambhajiraje Garden built by Pune Municipal Corporation flaunts the Aquarium of freshwater ornamental fishes, which was set up on 1st Aug 1952. The aquarium at the garden is loved by kids as it serves the educational as well as entertainment purpose for them. A garden is a perfect place for children, young as well as for seniors. It also offers a mini fort & big fountain which attract kids as well as elders. The big fountain located at the centre of the park enhances the beauty of the surroundings with its sparkling showers. The park has also created a special play park which attracts the children around the city.
Exercise lovers enjoy the plenty of space and jogging track at the garden. We find the people resting under the cool shades of tall green trees during the daytime. A variety of colourful flower plants soothes eyes and the lovely fragrance tickles nostrils. The green and a well-maintained garden are watered by a sprinkler system. This system helps to keep the garden green all year around.
- Bronze Statue of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj: The world's first 10-foot-tall full-figure bronze statue depicting Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj while composing his renowned literary work, 'Budhbhushan', has been installed for the first time in Maharashtra by the Pune Municipal Corporation at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Garden, Shivajinagar.
- Aquarium: A small aquarium where all the aquatic world lovers can take the pleasure of watching the variety of fishes. The aquarium mainly appeals to the kids.
- Rare Trees: Mani Mohar, Rudraksha, Kailaspati, Golden bottle brush, Bhadraksh, Sitaashok , Kanchan are some of the rare trees that are housed in the garden.
- Statues: Features statues of famous personalities like singer Ramchandra Ganesh Kundgolkar (Sawai Gandharva) and dramatist Ram Ganesh Gadkari.
- Shivmandir: A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
- Fountains: Beautiful fountains add charm to the garden.
- Pagodas: Recreation spaces with pagodas.
- Historical Tank: A tank with historical significance.
- Imaginary Fort: A creatively designed fort structure.
- Lakshmi Idol: A well-crafted idol of Goddess Lakshmi.
- Exhibitions: The Pune Municipal Corporation organizes some remarkable exhibitions in the garden every year. The flower exhibition and fort exhibition are the prime attractions during Diwali. At this time, the exhibition showcases the miniatures of various forts. In this exhibition, participants construct the forts by traditional techniques. Best fort is honored by prize.
