Introduction: 30-Meter Wide Bridge over Mutha River

The Pune Municipal Corporation is constructing a 30-meter wide bridge over the Mutha River, connecting Suncity Road (Sinhagad Road) to the 30-meter DP Road in Karvenagar (near Dudhane Lawns). This project aims to provide smooth and safe transportation for residents of Karvenagar, Suncity, and the surrounding areas, while reducing traffic congestion on other major roads.

Project Overview

• Location:  Suncity Road (Sinhagad Road) to 30-meter DP Road, Karvenagar.
• Contractor: M/s Vijay Sudam Patel, Pune.
• Consultant: M/s Creation Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Pune.
• Estimated Cost: ₹32.56 crores (12.10% lower than the tender estimate).
• Project Duration: 24 months (including monsoon periods) – Completion by May 10, 2025.
