Review of Water Supply Projects and Inspection of Turbid Water Supply Complaints.
Hon'ble Additional Municipal Commissioner (General), Smt. Pavneet Kaur, visited various water supply projects and sites across the city to review the progress of ongoing works. She also inspected locations where complaints regarding turbid water supply had been received and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials.
During the visit, she reviewed the ongoing construction works at the 125 MLD Water Treatment Plant under AMRUT 2.0, assessed the operational status of the newly constructed water reservoir in the Venkatesh Serenity area, Dhayari, inspected the Barangani Mala well in connection with complaints of turbid and potentially contaminated water, visited the proposed site for the new water treatment plant in the CWPRS campus, and reviewed the water treatment process at the Old Parvati Water Treatment Plant, along with complaints related to turbid water supply.
The Pune Municipal Corporation remains committed to ensuring a safe, clean, and high-quality water supply for the citizens of Pune. Necessary measures are being undertaken to strengthen the city's water supply system and ensure the effective implementation of ongoing and upcoming water infrastructure projects.
