<p>
The advertisement for the Ramai Awas Gharkul Yojana will be applicable to residents of the Pune Municipal Corporation area. The scheme for Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhists (Ramai Awas Gharkul Yojana) is being implemented by the Pune Municipal Corporation on behalf of the Maharashtra State Social Justice and Special Assistance Department.

<p>
Due to their challenging financial situation, Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist individuals are unable to build good, permanent homes from their own income. Due to the rising costs in the city, they cannot afford to buy their own house. As a result, they are forced to live in slums.
</p>
<p>
To improve the living standards of Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist individuals in both rural and urban areas and to solve their housing problems, the Ramai Awas Gharkul Yojana provides benefits to build permanent houses on their own land or on the site of a temporary house.
</p>
<p>
<strong>To avail the benefits of this scheme, the following government decisions and criteria for eligibility have been prescribed:</strong>

Documents to be submitted by the applicant:
<ol>
<li>
House tax receipt, water tax receipt, electricity bill, or any one of these documents.
</li>
<li>
Caste certificate issued by the competent authority (attested copy).
</li>
<li>
Income certificate issued by the competent authority.
</li>
<li>
Proof of land possession (7/12 extract/Property Registration Certificate). Ideally, the applicant should own land or a temporary house at the site where the permanent house will be built.

Extract from the voter list dated 01/01/1995.
</li>
<li>
Voter ID card.
</li>
<li>
Ration card.
</li>
<li>
Property tax receipt from Pune Municipal Corporation or slum rehabilitation and resettlement department.

<p>
<strong>Eligibility Criteria:</strong>
</p>
<ul>
<li>
The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste or Neo-Buddhist category from Maharashtra state.
</li>
<li>
The applicant must have been a resident of Maharashtra state for 15 years.
</li>
<li>
The annual income limit for the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs. 3.00 lakhs in the PMC area.
</li>
<li>
Those who were protected slum dwellers as of 01/01/1995 will be included in this scheme.
</li>
<li>
The applicant should not have benefited from any other government housing schemes.
</li>
<li>
This scheme will not be applicable for building the upper floors of an existing permanent house.
</li>
<li>
Applicants who already own a permanent house will not be eligible.
</li>
<li>
Necessary permissions must be obtained from the relevant regional office and authorities, such as the Deputy Commissioner (Division), Pune Municipal Corporation, before construction.
</li>
</ul>

Only applicants who own a temporary house are eligible to apply.
</p>

Applicants for the Ramai Awas Gharkul Yojana (City) can download the form <a href="https://adc-ecos.enlightcloud.com/1133pmcwebsitev2/s3fs-public/2025-04/…; and submit their completed application along with the required documents to the Social Welfare Department, 2nd Floor, Room No. 208, Pune Municipal Corporation, Shivaji Nagar, Pune 05. Alternatively, applicants can submit their applications to the regional office of Pune Municipal Corporation and get a receipt. After the site inspection by the regional office, feedback from the Slum Rehabilitation and Construction Development Departments will be considered, and applications will be presented to the Ramai Awas Gharkul Yojana Committee for approval.
