Introduction: Reconstruction of Sadhu Vaswani Railway Overpass

The Pune Municipal Corporation has initiated the demolition and reconstruction of the Sadhu Vaswani Railway Overpass near Koregaon Park. This project aims to resolve traffic congestion and provide a modern, four-lane flyover for seamless connectivity between Bund Garden, Camp, Solapur Road, and surrounding areas.

• Contractor: M/s S.M.C. Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Thane.
• Project Duration: 24 months (excluding monsoon period).
• Estimated Cost: ₹56.18 crore (4.90% above the tendered amount).
• Budget Allocation for FY 2023-24: ₹20.00 crore.
• Total Project Cost: ₹83.00 crore.
