Fire Safety Given Priority; Action Against Unauthorized Establishments
The Pune Fire Brigade has initiated fire safety inspections of PG accommodations, hostels, scrap shops and godowns across the city.
During inspections conducted in the Vadgaon Budruk, Narhe and Dhayari areas, closure orders were issued to 13 PG accommodations and 7 scrap shops/godowns that were found to be lacking required fire safety systems, authorized electricity connections, necessary permissions and other mandatory requirements.
Strict action will continue to be taken against establishments that fail to comply with fire safety regulations or are operating without the required permissions.
